Hi all,

We are yet to hear any updates from the BRCA with regards to any changes in requirement to wearing masks at indoor RC venues.

With this in mind face masks will no longer be mandatory at Forest Raceway from Monday 19th July, unless advised by the BRCA otherwise (which we will then post on the website/across our social media platforms to make you all aware).

England’s chief medical officer Chris Whitty and chief scientific adviser Sir Patrick Vallance said they will continue to wear face coverings:

  • indoors, in any situation which is crowded, or where people are close together
  • if asked to by any “competent authority”
  • if someone else was uncomfortable, as a “common courtesy”

We respectfully ask that all attendees to the raceway respect others rights to continue to wear a mask if they choose, and equally respect the rights of those who choose not to wear a mask.

If you have any questions or concerns please use the contact form on the website, or speak to a committee member.
